Here's that flower again

Here's my second flower! It takes about 15 minutes to complete one flower. They are pretty easy tho.

Now we all now that this flower was in the Occasions Mini...and there were a lot of questions on how it was made... well guess what???? I found a tutorial on how to do these... I had shown them to Celeste and she said she'd try to figure it out.....well,, after I show Celeste how to make them I'll post the link to the other persons blog.

These really are easy,, its just that the directions that were on the SU website, didn't make any sense... NNNOOOOWWW I get it.

Did everyone notice is APRIL 6th????

Yep,, the calendar says spring.....

but....

ITS SNOWING!!!! AND THIS IS GLOBAL WARMING!???

We are expecting LAKE EFFECT SNOW tonite and tomorrow... 6 days before Easter SUNDAY!!!! HELLLO... is anyone just a little tired of SNOW???? I know I am.... the only good thing is MAYBE, just MAYBE,,, we;ll get another snow day! yeah, right! Now is that wishful thinking or what????

Anyway,,, I made that card up there^ for the LateNiteStampers challenge #14..

Colors for the challenge were, Sahara Sand, Chocolate chip, very vanilla, and Baja Breeze...stamp set used was Soft Summer from the Occasions Mini.

Lets hope its a winner....

I can't wait to show you the birthday card that I'm submitting to the Splitcoaststampers WNY event ... its so cool...

well, lets hope we don't get that 2-4 inches of snow due overnite.

my budget can't handle another big gas bill.

Big shot

This is my version of the little topnote purse holder. I used an envelope for the inside.. forming that little package by scoring and folding 3 sides, cutting top off and gussetting the sides. I used redline tape to stick the topnotes to the envie.... and our brown ribbon to make the handles. The flowers are from the pretties kit, colored, and build a flower big shot die... the ovals are punched and the saying is from the occasion mini set, Oval All.

I'm feeling a little better today,,, cough cough... went to Wegmans and got lunch products for the week,, cause I have to work, hubby doesn't... bah, as my son says..who is also laid off...
Anyway,, I got the Soft Summer stamp set yesterday,, and since I was feeling a little better, I thought I'd play. By the way,,, this is a 2 step stamp set. and let me tell you,, I had a heck of a time lining this sucker up...I used the stampamajig and that wasn't quite working. I unmounted and remounted at least 3 times before I got it almost right., just a hair off, onto spare wood blocks I had from another set that was also double mounted but ...If i hadn't found the extra block I was ready to send it back,, not an option I admit, but hey,, its the thought. I finally got it mounted anyway. Did I mention that its a double mounted set? CRAP..ltampinUP announced that there would be no more double mounted sets, except for alpha sets.... thank you so much, starting with the new catalog coming out in July/August.... I hate double mounting.

So, thats what I did for most of the afternoon.


My next adventure will be cleaning my retired sets and getting them ready for sale. I plan on taking them to the WNY Splitcoaststampers event in April.
I need to make room... too much crap around here....
