Splitcoaststampers Summer fest

Just got back from Splitcoaststampers Summer fest in Clarence, NY. I had a pretty good time... food was very very very good. Lots of swaps, samples, gifts, and stampers.
These are only a few of the items I received in the 3 d swap. I'll be posting items all week a few at a time.

The one on the left is a mini picture frame. In the middle is a strawberry filled with chocolate, and the last is a journal, this one is Gaylas... mine is in my box, I forgot to take a pic of it. Very nice work,,, the items are very creative.!!

Can't wait for the next event.

Hi All..!!

Like these! So cute huh... Mothers day, Day at the beach and July 4th. The directions called for the big shot box die which I didn't have, but I used envelopes, cut in half, folded sides and bottom and got the little gussett box. other than that, these were all made with the BigShot top note die..Ok, so the umbrella was made with the scallop punch and I had to cut it by hand to make the shape...

Sorry Celeste, I didn't have any sand paper for the beach.

The flowers were made with the big shot build a flower die, and the flag uses 3 colors of top notes... piece of cake.. easy peasy. DOn't know what I'll use them for, but I figured you'd all like to see them anyway.

Nick's friend Gary got us some firewood.. brought in 2 cord so far,, If I'm lucky, we'll have enuf for next winter.... nothing like being prepared... like the grasshopper and the ant.... I'd rather pay him for firewood than national fuel.

Tomorrow!! Back to school!! yuck,,, but only 48 school days left.

More cricket Samples

Since I had some extra time today,,, cough cough,,,, I made my version of Celestes card.... It could use a little more embellishment, but I've been sick... not bad for a sick person.

Cricket machine

Ain't this just stinkin' cute!? My friend Celeste made this for me, using her cricket machine. She's so creative... you should see the pirate card invites she made for her son's birthday!
So,, good friend that she is... she cut out all the pieces for me,, and now I have something to play with! AND.. on top of that, she has loaned me her BigKick and dies.... so I've gathered up all my scraps,, and believe me there is a ton of them... and I'm using up all i can with her machine. I guess I'll have to buy her a die or 2 from our catalog...as a thank you , so I have some more things to play with...he he he! I'm a bad girl!!

ANyway... I'm working on my own little birdie... using the topnote and the birdie,, and other stuff...
