this was a shoebox I think.... shoeboxes are cards that can be put together in 10 minutes or less. If a card is too complicated I won't do it at the event... shoeboxes should be easy peasy with just a couple of layers and a little bling.Any thing more than that is a waste of others valuable time.

These were really nice swaps... there's another event scheduled for October at Wegmans,,, its open to 40 paid registrants.  So if ya wanna go check out this forum on splitcoaststamper.comSCS event at Wegmans in Amherst. You have til August 1st to pay for it,, and we always get nice swaps and have lots of fun.. food included.!

Molly really gets into her work... she's sitting ON the table... she likes to get right into it...I guess she's more comfortable laying down and coloring rather than just sitting.... "comie" comie... in other words, come with me NOW!... what a cutie.. love her !

And for those of you in my area,,, theres a Craft / Trade show today at Frontier Hight School, in Hamburg. Starting at 10am.. I'll be there, volunteering my services to whomever,, I hope to see some of you there.

FINALLY!

Computer crashed on March 7th, 4 days after I had gotten it fixed in the first place!..I finally got it back today!.. lost all Mollys baby pics,, but I'm sure Nick and Erin have plenty anyway.

Got back to facebook and farmville 2..talk about being out of touch.. some farms had over 150 gifts!  but I'm up and running... got pics loaded up,,, and will start sharing.

 What a week for this computer.. first the hard drive goes caput.... get it back the nextday,,, works fine for 4 days... then the darn monitor decides to give it a last breath and then the mouse... so,, thinking the monitor was the reason for things not working, I got a different monitor from Juli,, thanks Juli!... so now that the monitor works the mouse decides its done too. So I took a ride out to get a new mouse,, but guess what,, puter didn't like that mouse... I'm returning it tomorrow, by the way,,, and so I called Juli again,,, and asked if she had a mouse I could have.. thank you again, Julie.. I'm finally up and running... back on the web,, back to facebook... hey,, I was having withdrawal.. and whole affair took all afternoon!!! Give me abreak.!!!

A Christmas Gift from Celeste

Celeste made this scarf for me for Christmas... it has a pocket at each that I can use as mittens!  Comes in handy in the winter when I'm pumping gas!

Heres the kangaroo stamp...I colored it with markers, added the little baby face to the pouch, covered the word saying (valentine day saying) and pop dotted on card... I also have a time-date-place stamp too. let me know what your friend thinks..

Better late than never

Wow.. gotta say, its been awhile since I blogged!!!

Sorry,,, been busy.  I signed up for a couple of swaps, plus a SCS event coming in March, and I needed to finish swaps for that too.  SUonly, NVR and a 3d swap...lots of stamping!
Not to mention babysitting Molly everyday!!..she's getting so big and so smart... she can use her sisters IPAD !!! and she's only 18months old... look out world here comes Molly!!

Last nite I had a Stampin Up workshop/party.  There were only 5 of us here, and that included my Demo,Beth!.. Small party but good sales! Especially since its Sale-A-Bration.!!... Beth planned only one project... a tissue box cover... not too involved-she had everthing cut and embossed.. just a matter of putting it together and using some SU tools... check back like maybe tomorrow, I'll have a pic of it..

And being Valentines day,,,,, I had to make chocolate candy hearts for the my girls and honorary grandbabies..and hubby, of course.....

And today, Kaylee and I went to Lackawanna's Winter fest.... hay ride, hotdogs, decorating cookies, and hot chocolate,,, then we went to the Bill's Field house for Hunters Hope. Free entry, lots of games for kids to play, balloon animals, face painting, free food,, magician, and of course Jim Kelly, Bills former quarterback and his family... It was a nice day for families at the stadium.

I've also been doing a lot of web surfing and blog following, and email of course.... not to mention lunches and shopping with Celeste....

New Technique

While surfing on pinterest, I found this card technique,,, I couldn't figure it out on my own. Being retired my mind is a little out to lunch.  Then a dear friend called me one day and wanted to do some stamping together.  I showed the card on pinterest that I wanted to make,, and between the 2 of us.. we FIGURED IT OUT!!!.. this is what we came up with.... its called the double punch trifold gate card.. My next post will show how it looks opened up.
