1st Sunshine Stamper's Summer Fest

The first card is a card sent to me by my VC(virtual convention) Rocks roomie, Sue Schemp. She lives in Oregon , on Puget Sound. Being members of the VC Rocks group, we get matched up with someone in the group that matches your interests. Sue and I have so much in common, its unbelieveable.! Any, Sue should have received her box by now,, but I'm on my home from Cape Cod, but I'm writing this the week before I left. So I don't know if she received it yet or not.... hmm...

THe beautiful blue card was made by Ann Thanks Ann.. If i remember correctly your arm was in a cast at the event... hope all is well now!

And the sunset card... just lovely.. . I think I'd better break out my brayer... how pretty is that card....

The first is the daisy die from the StampinUP catalog, using 3 layers of flowers.Very pretty

of course you recognize the good ol red white and blue...!

And the last is the another beeswax technique card... the flower layer is a napkin.

A few days ago, I went to get the mail and lo and behold this was in there.. in an envelope of course. It's a VCRocks RAK! anyone know what a RAK is... ??? well, its a Random Act of Kindness. I love the colors in this card. Its one of the swaps from Splitcoast event. And the stampset its from the Occasions Mini.

We had a some really loud thunderstorms yesterday. Wind howling, rain coming down in buckets, hail in some parts of town.

Steve was at cabin and electricity went out.. he was dying for a cup of coffee.... and he was starving.. ok, so don't use the propane stove to make something to eat.???!!! DUH!... and I ,,, Me,,,, I.... had to call national grid to report the outage.... um..oookkk!...anyway,, alls better today... ! But we may be getting some thunderdunders again today.

Tomorrow is Jims graduation party... hope the weather is nice for that!

As promised... here are some more 3d items swapped. Names, unknown. But they are very well made,, very pretty and of course, filled, with chocolate
The top one is a fruit can, opened on the bottom so the pull top is still in place. Cute idea.. chocolate of course.

the second.. a little notebook,, the flower is embossed and glittered.. very pretty in real life..

the bottom one: a ltittle carton, filled, again with candy... my kind of swaps.

Now its time to show you some of the 3d items that were swaped at the 1st annual Sunshine Stampers Summer fest, last weekend. Gayla made the first one,, its lemonade mix in a decorator bag. I haven't opened it yet... its too pretty. The other 2, I'm not sure about ... the candle and the little box with chocolates.. cute,, aint they... Thanks ladies..
